SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The service issue established for intervention activities a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” sassa status check the agency said.
